People of Color in European Art History (http://medievalpoc.tumblr.com/) uses art to correct the notion that med/Ren Europe was not inhabited and heavily influenced by people of color. I chose to explore this project because I am interested in the possibility of reading access through (implied) presence in artistic representation and how that reading might complement or complicate Hayles’s distinction between access/pattern and point of view/presence in cyberpunk novels.
